Hmmm...Paypal will always take your Paypal balance first; but that isn't what you meant by 'bank account' is it?

When I have no Paypal balance, I have never tried to bypass the bank account for a credit card. What you experienced may very well be policy they do not publish - it surely would piss me off also.

Anyone else experience this denial of credit card use?
