I agree. For $20,00 he will get a car that needs another $25k (unless he really lucks out) For $30-35k, he can get a nice car with everything done. More money up front but will save him from being slowly bankrupted over the course of restoring the cheap car. Not to mention the work involved which I for one would rather spend driving the car!
