looking for a value on a '71

I am looking for a value on a '71 pantera I am looking at buying. Here is a run down, current owner for approx 15 years, red car with black lower stripe. Only things he has done is new tires 2 yrs ago and freshened the motor about 2 yrs ago(less than 1000 miles on it).After market rims, pop riveted flares front and rear, rear scoop mounted to roof(wrong position), carpet is shot, interior other wise not bad. It appears that the driverside front fender has had the front half replaced, lap welded on with a somewhat visible seam. Drives great, but any good way of getting a 6'4" guy in comfortably? Have pictures if they help to estimate value.
car 1632 or 1634 can't remember.
