George, I agree although I have never dealt with the auctions to sell. All sellers get is a few minutes of an auctioneer trying to talk about their car on stage, and you don't even get a chance to drive it. The no reserve auctions especially are scary, as I still recall years ago a nice white group 4 I went to see at the annual Palm Springs auction where the car bid close to $60K and didn't meet reserve; then a few months later I saw the owner and the car at OC Barrett Jackson where it went for about $22K "no reserve"...ouch! But what the hey, he got his cash right away without having to deal with numerous tire kickers. "No reserve" to me is just like Vegas for the seller, roll the dice.
