Marlin....

Thanks !
You bet. After mapping them out, I did nothing but look at them for a week. Went very slow and they came out pretty good.

Actually the hood pins might be leaving this summer as well. I am looking at Skybolt Zaus fastners. The Cloc type.
SK215-4 for the adjustable Receptacles
SK-0316S for the Grommets
Still deciding on the Fastners.

The problem with a fiberglass hood and being pinned on the 4 corners is at high speeds, the air flow through the front of the car causes the hood to bow up in the middle. It hasn't caused any problems, but it looks wierd watching it from behind the wheel. I'll solve this problem by doing the Zaus fastners, 3 on the windsheild side, 3 down each side and 3 across the front end. They will also sit flush on the hood.

The hood is Fiberglass. I didn't see any point going to carbon fiber since I was going to paint it, not for the cost anyway. The hood weighs maybe 20 pounds at most. Very easy to lift off and put on by myself.

Check out the fastners I found. They really look like quality stuff Marlin.
