Percy, If you mean the little bent-rod crank-thing, its what you use to roll windows up or down if the battery is dead. You need to pop the plastic cover off the door to access the drive socket. It does NOT work if the window is stuck because of a cracked plastic gear in the motor mechanism, unfortunately.
