Ahhhh - thanks Bosswench. Likely little use to me at this point.

Powered up the windows for the first time in 30 years last week .

One groans an bit and then begrudgingly moves ever so slowly , moaning mournfully all the way . The other gives a slight clunk , quivers slightly and then runs up a small white flag. I do suspect the gear is broken in it.

My friend who I brought the car off was there at the time . He burst out laughing. Swine!

I feel the chill wind of a full window mechanism rebuild coming on in the immediate future !!
