Quaife have never built one in the Pantera orientation, only GT40 applications. This gearbox was brought out when you just couldn't get your hands on a ZF due to demand for GT40 replicas and those who did were waiting 2 years to get their ZF rebuilt or flipped. It is dimensionally the same as a ZF and uses Porsche internals. There have been a few documented failures in GT40 replica track or racing use. Fact is you can now get a ZF for similar money so why settle for a substitute?
