Reply to "Mangusta ball joints"

Hello out there,
I am in the need for lower ball joints for my Goose. I read all the posts, sounds like the joints to go after are the 40mm ones. With the Fiat parts number listed, do I just go the trial and error method being there are early and late versions of this joint.Any help would be appreicated.
