Goose brakes are nothing like the Pantera version. Pretty unique.

I think it depends on where you do your Girling shopping....but if you replaced it all, the $1000 was not toooo far off base. I seem to remember a little tiny sandwich bag full of some bits costing me well over $300!! ...and that was 10+ years back!
Normally, the Goose received the standard two piston Girling caliper type "CR" I believe. They were used on a couple odd large British cars, and also some of the 427 Street Cobras. Also perhaps on the street GT-40.
Since Girling made many different calipers with apparently the same mounting patterns, it looks like DeTomaso took whatever they could deliver!!!
Having the part numbers will be a great reference for your style being that they are so rare!!
