ok, now we're having fun...note in the Serenissima GT the mix of carpets--the floormats with a velour, and the thresholds using the square weave pattern (used in the Goose trunk).

I suppose if DeT used Wilton wool for the interior carpets, it would have been promoted then...but Italian wool seems to be high-falutin-nuff..
