Nate, that's a great help and thanks for the DuettoInfo website. I'm in Willy Roos' Register and knew of Veloce but not Duettoinfo. Full parts books online ? Unbelievable!

My car is a later Goose 1208, and the more we delve into it, a German finished car.

I'm now starting to doubt the pull up knob too. car isn't with me so I need to go look and see what's there

All I now need to do is find a Left Hand door mechanism - There are 4 for sale all RH!!!
