The lower one looks too modern in comparison to all the other De Tomaso scripts, especially in the style of the 's' and 'm'. I'd take a guess the top one is original as it contains the same 's' style as the De Tomaso script.

Larry Stock has just had new scripts water jet cut from Stainless for 'De Tomaso', 'Pantera' and 'Mangusta' style scripts. He'd know for sure and have a replacement should you need it.
