I think you're right about the front emblem being hard to find. I always thought it was the same as the Pantera, but I'm not sure (even though I could technically just look at both of mine to see...). Using the T brand looks OK, just different. The carpeting in my front trunk doesn't look as plush and the edging is less pronounced. Mind you, I'm not certain that mine is original. I'm pretty certain that the carpets in the front trunk of 978 aren't, however.

The lower scoop is there I think, it just hides well in black on some photo angles. I understand the desire to "alter" the look to go from 2 to 4 headlights but I'm not sure I would have the gumption to do that to my car (unless it was crunched badly). I guess as long as the prospective purchasers are informed that this has been done then all is fine.

I was told that even though they are considered "less desirable" by some (me included), there were fewer 2 lamp than 4 lamp cars built so they are the more rare version. My perspective is that the car was originally designed to be a 4-lamp car and that is the way it should be.
