DON'T DO THE RUBBER/METAL TRIM THING!!!!!! You wanna talk about cheezy looking.. this would do it!!!! Of course this is only my humble opinion....

These cars are great in that they are simple and plain, to an extent. They are NOT chrome monsters... and were never intended to be.

I've seen many modifications to these cars that NEVER should have been done...it's a real shame that someone would abuse such a rare and beautiful design!!!

I believe that you can get rubber moulding from many of the DeTomaso vendors very easily. Have seen too much new stuff on cars recently for it to be hard to get.

Why reinvent the wheel?

Just don't do it!
