Hi Denis & Dick, thanks for the input & photos. Clearly the Mangusta wheel wasn't designed for push-in stems. I can see the issues now.

Obviously there ARE rubber stems that can be made to work but I'm opting for tubes next time!! Here is a Pantera wheel for comparison. Regards, Nate
