Guys,
Do any DeTomaso enthusiasts buy any DeTomaso cars hoping to recoup their expenses? There are much better marques for this.
I love my Pantera and have sunk many $$$ which I may some day recoup. But, I did the restoration for my pleasure.
I think we own Detomasos because they are wonderful cars with uniqueness and timeless styling. And, for a mechanically challenged individual like myself I can handle many repairs at a reasonable cost.
If you plan on keeping the car a long time I say go for it, and enjoy the process.
