I took a break from the master cylinder while I rebuilt the steering gear. With that done, I now need to get this brake thing sorted out to get the car on the road.
The problem I had with the Ranger MC was the mounting bolt holes were too narrow. The studs on my adapter are 3.4" center to center. It took me a while but I finally was able to cross reference the casting number on my MC and it goes to a 74-80 Chevy truck or 78-86 Jeep CJ (Three different part numbers). I found one of the CJ parts locally. The casting is spot on but the piston did not match.
I'm still looking. Does anyone know of the Mustang MC's have a 3.4" bolt spacing for the mounting flange?
