Marlin's advice is good. In addition, I suggest you be very sure the fans rotate such that they both blow air in the right direction, and that they both turn at more-or-less the same speed. On some cars, the voltage out of the fan relays is not high enough to allow big, powerful fan motors to spin at their rated speed. If you have any doubts, rig a jumper cable directly from the battery posts to a fan; if it seems to spin faster or make more noise, your electrical hookup needs attention.
