Marlin, Thanks so much for responding. I happen to have a set of the mufflers. After I read your message, I measured the inlet and outlet pipes. The inlet on my set is 2 1/2" o.d. The outlet pipes are 2 1/4" o.d. (2.100" i.d.)Is this different from the dimensions on yours? Also, I purchased the chrome tips sold by PI. The outside diameter on the tip where it would connect to the muffler is 2.200". Not sure how to reconcile this. A .100 press fit is not possible. Did you have this issue? The stainless tubing sounds like the way to go. Do you think I will have problems if I try to match the diameter of the intake pipe (in my case 2 1/2"). Or, should I just go with 2 1/4" stainless tubing? Joel
