My 98 cobra NA with a HCI forged shortblock 11:1 cp pistons, manley rods, file fit rings, ported heads, stock but ported heads and stock cams, spanks the pantera and gets over 20 mpg. A built short block with stock heads will run you about 3 grand and HCI guarantees them unconditionally (that means a 300 shot of NOS, turbos blowers) for a year. My pantera deserves to be as fast as my SN 95 cobra convertible or is deserves to get sold. I've been able to drive my car twice may be throee times so far and I am less that impressed but it could be tuning and carb. My un cat-ed 4.6 DOHC with hooker long tubes, hooker x pipe, and flowmasters sounds about a cool as any V8 is gonna sound. It aint buzzy thats for sure.
