Two different ways of addressing the same problem, and either one will be fine. Actually, if I remember correctly, both the "Volts of Confidence" solution and the "Rick Moseley" solution came from the same person. Mike wrote the "Volts of Confidence" article based on a solution proposed by Marcus Smith (? it's Marcus someone) and Rick took it a step further and actually built a bolt-in kit.
I've got Rick's kit in my car - it was easy to do and he used top quality materials. If you want a plug-and-play, then get his kit. If you enjoy tinkering a little more then follow the instructions on Pantera Place and "roll your own". They both ought to do the same thing - unload the headlight switch and ignition switch.
