Larger cans ehhh, sounds like plastic surgery.
If you a just looking for a little more boom in the tone, give your trusted muffler shop the stock system. I had new tubes made that were bigger than stock, we measured to get the biggest tube to fit. I think we were able to match the inlet of the tips at 2.25 inches. I can get you the numbers. For "mufflers" I used resonators, double tipped that are available from "Summit Racing". They are "Pacesetters" by Monza. 2.25 inch inlet with twin 3 inch outlets. $65.69 a pair. I had these welded on and used stock hanger locations and hangers. I love the sound. Not like my old big block Chevy with three inch pipes but a little racier. Noise? At cruising speed it doesn't seem to be any louder than a good GTS system. At idle and with a heavier foot, nice.
My total cost for the system was less than $300 if I recall. It has been 5 or 6 years.
Have fun, it is good noise and won't piss of the neighbors when you "idle" by.
