Reply to "Mustang engine swap"

Hi Mark, what i want is performance and higher RPM. My more or less standard 351C stops around 5500, and i want an engine that can rew to app. 7000, then as i see it this is the only economic realistic way to have the max. speed that i want. I live in Denmark and the V8 engines, and parts for these, are hard and expensive to get here. I can rebuild my 351C and add a restrictor kit, Manley valves and rockers, Carillo rods, another cam, steel crank shaft, 10 liter oil pan, etc. but i am not sure if i will end up with a realiable engine that can rew to 7000 rpm. This is the reason why i thought that the newer Mustang engine could be a good swap. But again, my knowledge of these engines is very little so any help and comments are higly apreciated.
