Mustang vented rotors for Pantera now available

Hi guys,

You may recall that original 1965-66 Ford Mustang front brake rotors are a
drop-in replacement for the stock Pantera rotors. The Mustang rotors are
vented, which gives a notable performance improvement for hard street and
moderate track driving.

Originally, both Mustangs and Panteras have the disc cast separately from
the hub. The problem is that the brake manufacturers have all taken to
casting replacement Mustang rotors with an integral hub. In the Pantera
application this won't work at all in the rear of course, and in the front, it
requires you to run non-metric lug nuts, which is a bit of a nuisance which brings extra cost as well.

This is an undocumented change in most cases; parts retailers will show a
disc-only in their catalog, but when they go hands-on and open up the box,
SURPRISE! The same part number now gives a disc/hub combination.

There is a seller called BrakeLabs on E-bay that is advertising rotors
only:

But when I contacted them for confirmation, SURPRISE! Turns out it's a
disc/hub combination. They promised to update their website. That was
weeks ago.

It has literally become impossible to find rotors-only.

I finally decided that the only way this was going to happen is if somebody
(me) stepped up to have a manufacturer tool up and put these discs back
into production. I've negotiated with one of the top brake manufacturers in
the country, Centric (which also owns StopTech and Powerslot), who have
agreed to tool up and put these rotors back into production again, just for me.
They won't be available from any other sources and won't be featured in
their catalog--it's a one-off deal. But it requires a minimum buy-in of 20
pairs of rotors (40 rotors total) to make it work.

Here's the info on the basic rotors:

They will also produce them in the Powerslot line for those who want the
additional performance these slots provide:

These are the same rotors, just with the slots machined into them.

And finally, for those who want the ultimate, they will provide their
cryogenic treatment:

They have given me one week to deliver my order, and it can be any
combination of premium, powerslot, or powerslot/cryo rotors.

Cost structure will be as follows:

Premium rotors: $125 each, plus tax
Powerslot rotors: $145 each, plus tax
Powerslot cryo rotors: $165 each, plus tax

Again, these are a drop-in replacement for the stock solid rotors, and can
be used both front and rear.

Delivery time to me will be about 90 days from the date I place my order.
I have a week to give them the order, which again can be any combination of
Premium, Powerslot and Powerslot Cryo.

I don't require any cash up front; once the rotors arrive I'll contact the
buyers to arrange for shipment and payment.

All I need now is for people to step up and commit; once I have the minimum
number necessary, I'll place the order, and we'll be in business.

Please do NOT just try to contact me via PM here; instead, send your orders to me at MikeLDrew@aol.com. Include all your contact and shipping info.

Okay, so who wants low-cost vented rotors? The line forms right over
here....:>)

Mike
