During...

What I did:
1. Pulled crusty stud out
2. Dremel tool with reinforced fiber cutting wheel went in, cutting 'slot' for washer (exact same size.)
3. Treated with oxygen converter paint.
4. Slid in new 8mm bolt with washer.
5. Epoxied like a posessed person.
6. Marvelled at new found sturdiness.
