The inside bore of the (unobtainable) fan hub was mauled and over size and spinning on the motor shaft, (probably the cause of the other motor's failure) and that made it necessary to drill/tap/double set screw the hub to the new motor's shaft, using the nylock nut to just set the hub level and centered on the shaft.
