Hey Ron, Those aren't "optional factory 8-blade fans," They're Ford Cortina fan blades retrofitted to the stock Lucas motors; a popular upgrade in the 70's for the Pantera. I think Hall Pantera used to sell these in the 70's and 80's.

Interesting Goodroc. I hadn't heard of a car coming from the factory with those fan blades. Although I imagine the factory race cars had many minor improvements/upgrades over the street cars.
Anyway, I have the Cortina fan blades on my car and they work well. Here's my radiator replacement and refinishing of the radiator cavity.
