My wipers won't stop err.... wiping!

Happy monday morning all

I seem to have an electrIcal glitch somewhere.

When I turn on my wipers they flap away merrily at full speed reagrdless of which setting they are on, and then won't turn off. In fact turning of the ignition doesn't help either - I have to lift the lid at the front and use the my battery kill switch to stop them!

Is this a wiper switch problem, a relay problem or what?

Any suggestions would be gratefully recieved.
