Reply to "My wipers won't stop err.... wiping!"

I have been involved in some discussion on the e-mail forum with respect to wiper motors and I think it is worth adding a note here on the findings;

1. My old wiper motor is part#75664F Type 14W and has a 95 Degree sweep gear installed.
2. A UK based company S-V-C sells parts for the motors including, park switches and gears with 5 degree increment sweeps from 95 to 130. Their web address is http://www.s-v-c.co.uk/SVCWIPERS.HTM and gears run 15GBP (~$30)
3. For US owners it appears that 95 degree gears may be hard to come by this side of the pond. I have confirmed that the plastic gear is generic to all the sweeps (the controlling factor being the pin location on the metal eccentric). I easily separated the plastic gear from the metal eccentric body. This means that you can potentially source a replacement unit of any degree sweep for a 14W motor (a number listed on ebay), remove the plastic gear and use your existing 95 degree sweep metal eccentric, (that is asuming it is only the plastic gear that has stripped).
