Me too. I have diagrams for all years, all the newer show a Violet ending in nothing. The older diagram has a Violet going to 65 Direction Indicator Switch. But it's only Hot when ignition is on.

There are also a few always hot Violet wires in the interior light system, where the door jamb contacts create ground. Most Violets go to Interior Light Rocker Switch
