Need to Wire tie the ring gear bolts

I pulled the lower cover and the wiring has not been done. Gears are clean. From what I am reading it is necessary to pull the carrier out to accomplish this task. Is there a good article on pulling the carrier? It does not appear that the service manuals give you much detail.
