Reply to "New Alloy Cleveland Heads from Trick Flow"

Ron, Jim,

I have no other info or pics. The pic I posted was originally posted by Jim Sams on the Cleveland forum. I've hunted and can't find anything else on the net.

I would guess the combustion chamber is a usual high swirl design. There's not a whole lot you can do to improve upon that. Notice the intake ports are cast right up to the valve cover mating surface. It makes me wonder if thats a high (3V or 4V) port, or if Trick Flow cast in a lot of extra material so the port could be ground open to 3V/4V height. Logic would dictate that this is most likely a 2V intake port to compete with Edelbrock. If this head will flow competitively with the 2V heads from CHI & AFD I'll be happy (about 300 cfm at 0.600" lift).

No information as far as intake manifolds go, but we have plenty of choices in 2V intake manifolds already. Except, a long standing item on my wish list has been a 351C 2V EFI lower manifold that mates with the Trick Flow 351W upper manifolds.
