I was expecting something a bit more 23rd century, but that seemed to work

I remember my first time at the range w. my father-in-law trying out 10 & 12 gauges and a 30-06, I did pretty good - I guess I developed some decent hand-eye coordination playing pong and asteroids as a kid. No AK-47s though. As for my father-in-law, this is a guy who - on one of the first times I stopped to pick up his daughter for a date - took the time to show me his gun collection - I can't remember if that's when he mentioned his friend in the excavating business who owned a gravel pit or not. When my daughter is a bit older, I may have to take a page from his book :-)
