New MSD Distributor Set Up

I am going to install a MSD PN 8477 distributor into my Pantera. MSD makes these distributors easy to adjust the mechanical advance and the rate of advance. Has anyone installed one of these into their car and if so how did you set it up? I am thinking of using the 25 degree bushing and then set the initial advance to about 11 or 12 degrees, that would give 36 to 37 degrees total advance. But how fast should it take place, slow, medium, fast or what RPM should full advance occur? MSD has 3 different springs for different advance rates. Any recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks.
