I believe that I was quoted $2,900 for the ring and pinion and $900 for each gear. I forget what the synchros were, maybe $400 each?
That's just the parts, no labor.

Check your fluid level in the ZF. Whining of gears can be a low level.
Whining from the cabin is usually the driver when he gets the rebuild bill.
