Reply to "New Throw-out Bearing Advise"

...The Pressure Plate! With 3 Levers use a FLAT Faced Bearing, the 3 Levers Contact and Pivot on the 3 'Tips'. When using the P. Plate with MULTIPLE thin 'Fingers', Use a ROUNDED Face Bearing to 'Roll' through the motion of many Sheet Metal 'Fingers'. That's My opinion as I understand it.

...IF you should use a FLAT Faced T.O. Bearing with the 'Multi-Fingered' Pressure Plate, the Action will 'Bind-Up', and will Not be as Smooth! Also the 'Leverage' will be lost, as The 'Outside Diameter' of the Bearing will CONTACT the 'Fingers' at a Point CLOSER to the 'Fulcrum'...First and Only!! And the Effort/Force for Dis-Engaging the Clutch, will be Compounded, although, the Movement will be 'Quicker'! Understand This! It's NOT Rocket Science...But it IS Physics!
