OK another review on this light now that I've been using it. It doesn't light up a large area like a normal incandecent or flourescent light but it is pretty bright. Not a bright white but a little defused which makes it greenish but it is bright.

Verdict, still worth the $21.00 for the no cord feature and supposed indestructability.
