Marlin - I was wondering about that too. The airflow under the body seems to get sucked up into the engine bay leaving a coating of dirt after every drive. The dirt also tends to leave a coating on the deck lid. I can’t imagine running the 8-stacks with just a metal screen given the air (dirt) flow??
