How low do you want your car to sit? Std GT5 widths are 13" rear and 10" front, but my 275/40/17's on 10" fronts scrub the inner fender and have cracked the fiberglass flares on the outside as I'm set up fairly low ride height. I suspest 18's will require a slightly higher ride height.

I have gone 18 rear & 17 front on the GP4 conversion, but I prefer equal sizes front-back on the GT5.
