Hey guys found this site a couple weeks ago. I am the proud new owner of a 1972 pantera with a GT5 kit on it. It is a semi project car. So i go t a few questions for you guys and i dont know if im posting in the right section The seller is putting some finishing touches on it and I will be helping him with some odds and ends. We have to pull tranny out and change flywheel because it vibrates. He says the seller sent him wrong flywheel. This was a couple years ago. Car has been sitting for a couple years. He raced up at limerock a few times and was driving it regularly. Hopefully no damage to transaxle. Interior was apart and he is in the middle of lowering seats and he wanted to make up a new interior but I kind of like the original so we are putting that back in place. Car has some rust in only two places. Is this a common area and should I be worried? One area is where the ac consensus is in the back under the grill and the other is the drivers side door sill. Door sill actually has holes. Can that just be cut and replaced. Rest of car is actually very clean. Also can someone help me with vin number. Can't seem to decode it. Vin number is thpn4d03865.
