Reply to "Nice '72 L For Sale"

In response to your inquiry on the red '73L at Memory Lane, It was originally a white car, supposedly Hall Pantera restored the car. I called him and he was very vague and not very friendly when it came to asking him questions about the car. I saw restoration pictures of the car and it has had new rear wheelhouses, and the front valance is somewhat rusty. The paint is okay, basecoat/clearcoat, which has been color sanded, probably when it was first done. The paint is also showing some shrinkage and I believe the quarters have been resprayed at a later time. (Blend lines on the upper pillars.) The doors could have been blocked out better. A lot of money was spent on the undercarriage, such as shocks, brakes, steering, etc. It is definetly not a trailer queen, but a nice appearing car that would be a fun driver. The car is set up for nitrous with very nice plumbing. There is a plaque on the dash that says 'built by Hall Pantera for Heidi Krieg. 0-60 in 3.7 seconds.' Gary Hall knew nothing about this when I asked him. The car is #4887. The original white car that I saw is light years ahead of this one as far as condition goes. If someone wants me to look at the either car, I would be glad to,I am about 10 minutes away from either. I don't consider myself an expert on these but if this helps, I used to do paint and bodywork for the Ferrari dealership for over 10 years and had extremely picky customers.
