No Clutch

I finished my carb and intake upgrade and the motor is running SWEET! I went to back her up to put the passenger side seat in and I have no clutch. I have pressure at the pedal but I can not seem to get the clutch to dis-engage, therefore I can't get it in to reverse or any forward gear. Prior to taking the the motor apart for the upgrade, I did a quick power washing of the engine bay and the ZF and bell housing. Realizing afterwards that I do not have any cover over the bell housing inspection hole. So my question is, am I looking at possibly the slave going bad while it was sitting there, or could the throwout bearing be hung up bacause it might have gotten soaked from the power washing? I'm going to have some help this afternoon, so I'll be able to have someone push on the clutch while I watch the slave. Any other ideas or assistance will be greatly appreciated.
