Reply to "Non-scientific oil filter comparison- Motorcraft, Bosch, Mobile 1, K&N"

I never understand why anyone would want to save 5-10 bucks on an oil filter for their collector car. I see pics of modified engines that owners have spent many thousands of dollars on running a cheap Fram filter.

I only change the oil once a year. Mobil 1 15-50. With no lift and putting the car up on boards the hex nut on the K&N is worth the extra dollar or two.

My 2 cents now worth 1 .
