The VIN for your Pantera "should" be stamped into the chassis in the boot atop the footbox, the ID tag will sit over this stamped number, with a window in the ID tag that allows you to view the VIN below. Besides the VIN number visible through the tags window, the engine & trans numbers will be stamped on the tag itself.

Below is a picture of the VIN number stamped into my chassis, where the ID tag should be located.
