Your call but you have two options in NV. One open a PO box in Carson City or find a good friend in that area and register the car in that county. They do not have smog tests!

Second, after fiddling-farting around and if you are successful in passing. Get a historical license plate. As long as you keep the car reg current you only have to pass the smog test once and just show proof that it passed for years to come. Saves the hassle down the road.
