Oil Pan Plug

I am getting a slight oil leak on this plug shown in the link below. It is right at the bottom of the oil pan (on the front), so I figure it may be for the oil temp gauge. I was going to change the oil through the usual drain plug and so in that process I was thinking of dealing with this leak here as well while I have the car on the lift. I was just going to try and tighten it somewhat, but just noticed it has some sealer on the threads, so that may not be a good idea? Maybe take it out, clean it and put on whatever that sealer may be and screw back in? http://www.poca.com/index.php/...g2_imageViewsIndex=1
