It is probably Permatex Thread seal paste. Take the sensor out, clean and recoat with same or teflon tape. Let the Permatex cure for 24 hours before refilling with oil.

This supposes that the leak is around the pipe threads. If it is coming from around the black part of the sensor body, then you might have to replace it to cure the leak.
