Yeah, the one on the car appeared to have been the smaller idiot light kind, the problem is I can't get the larger gauge sender that I got at Schucks to fit in the spot at the top rear where the broken sender was. The housing is just too wide. Could I have had a smaller sender? The pressure always seemed to be pegged at 70lb/o, so I'm guessing it was just a dummy light sender?

Maybe I should just do the mod for the clevelands and just tee it off at the rear to get more oil pressure on the rear bearings while I'm at it. I'll check when I get home, but does the cleveland have the side mount extension for the sender just above the oil pump like the windsors and 289/302's?
