Dry sump is a whole level of complexity again, reservoirs, 4 stage pumps etc. Some of the usual benefits of dry sump are in allowing lowering the engine for lower CoG, but I don't think there is much to be gained in the Pantera without some serious chassis remodelling.
Adding an outlet and inlet to a 10 qrt wet sump pan would be pretty easy, in fact I understand Aviad or Armando will do it to order. You could use an electric pump like the Tilton at fixed speed with a t-stat/thermocouple so only comes on when needed or linked to a pwm controller to act progressively in maintaining oil temp.
My Ultima transmission cooler is a simple on/off switch on the dash, if I see the temp rising on track I put it on. The Tilton pump is good for 75/90 wt gear oil so should have no problem at engine oil viscoities.
